-TOP GUITAR SOLOS: I usually hate those lists that magazines do. They usually piss me off because the best guitar solo of the year just happens to be on a song that came out that year. But this list is pretty good. The best part is that this person went out and dug up videos for each of the top 20. Nice.

I watched a few (One and both Eruptions) so far. Kirk Hammett deserves more respect than he gets. Aside from his solo in the slow half of One being really beautiful, his solo in the fast part is also well written. Plus, in that clip, they're playing it about twice as fast as normal and he still plays it with emotion.
And I always wondered how Eddie did a bunch of those sounds. Now I know. :)
