I still find this image hard to believe. It is on the internet, though so it has to be true. The story goes that the folks in Detroit lifted the restrictions for them to fly (very-very) low. People have pointed out in the comments that it is Detroit so:
1. Most of the buildings are empty anyway.
2. The owners of the buildings would love to cash in the insurance on them.

The Hornet is probably much further away from the building than it looks, if the shot was taken with a really long lens. Still, it's close enough to be loud and scary. :)
